As promised. Here is the official flyer for Geos on the Gulf IV
Gates to Big Lagoon State park open at 8am. Don’t block the entrance road. We will be in the parking lot of the library right across the street, you can’t miss us.
We will have hot coffee/breakfast snacks and water to start the day. If you are driving in, just wait and have breakfast with us.
Lunch should be around noon or a little later. This year’s menu will include Jambalaya, Italian sausage, and BBQ, meat and cheese sandwich trays with assorted breads. Two things to remember - It is all free and we have never run out of food.
We have had wind, rain and sunshine and at every event, we had a good time.
This is not a closed event for just a few "old timers." This is for everyone!!!! I guarantee you that you will not be a stranger when you get here. It is a family event. It is in a state park so no alcohol is allowed.
Pets are allowed but you may have to keep them on a leash. Pets are one reason the event is staged where it is.
I will keep updating as time goes on. Do not hesitate to email or call me if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at Geos on the Gulf IV.

Magnum Metro Restoration Video

Posted by Johnny Mullet (Admins) at Dec 11 2013, 07:43 AM. 21 comments

Figured I would make a separate post for this video since it only got 10 views so far, but the Facebook version is very popular. Basically it's a video of the restoration of The Magnum Metro. Please note that the driving clip at the end is with the old SuperTrapp exhaust and not the new setup. Enjoy.............

EcoMudder Meltdown - Season Finale

Posted by Johnny Mullet (Admins) at Oct 29 2013, 06:35 AM. 7 comments

Had a great season! The last event was great except the radiator blew out. I assume the Dvorak head gasket might be toast, but otherwise, EcoMudder is just fine :thumb

Jet fighter Geo?

Ready to take to the skies is the F-18 Fighter Jet by renowned Art Car Artist Isaac Cohen. He's won first place awards for his outstanding wooden cars - Splinter, Little Splinter, Big J and Slider - but to Celebrate the 30th anniversary of his coming to the best country there is, Isaac created a special tribute to thank America's service members, her heroes. The steel and fiberglass scale model of an F-18 fighter jet measures 13 ft. from nose to tail with a wing span of 10.5'. Mounted on a converted 1991 Geo Metro, it features the logos of each of America's military services and the words Thank You and Heroes. The jet took over 2,000 man-hours to build and is Isaac's personal thank you to those who fight to keep us free - past, present and future.

Not great for MPG, but rather cool in the carpool lane.
