Thx, its realy fantastic how people react. most people get a big smile on their face when they see it passing them. i love it(yeps the biggest smile is on my face).

about your other question:

Welll i bought it @ a local garage. the vehicle wsa allready imported in 1997(ore something like that.
But i know people who have import some mitsubishi galants.

Most important thing to wonder is whats the car valeu and how much im willing to pay to bring it with me?

Get a licence for it can be 150 euro IF the type already has a OK for the road.... but.... like a friend of mine(import an mitsubishi legnum) there was no type OK for on the road. in that case the price will be 1000,- euro at least!!!

this is ONLY to get a licence number for on the road.

So the most important thing is to know if in England the car has an type OK.

transport cost is a other thing. you can 2 choose 2 differnt ways fast and slow(now i take if you get something out of japan) slow way can take about 3 months but cost verry less than the fast way what cost about 1 a 2 weeks.

so if i where you i first would get to know if the car drives a lot in UK ore has an type OK for on the road. if the answer is yes than find out what the best ship way is.

And than wondering what is wisedome... import your car ore buy an occasion in england

Today we get the last *imbusbouten*(sorry dont know the english word hehe) markers(screws ore something like that) in the position that we can easy turn them out.
and lay the new top above it to see if its fits(ok a little bit late for a top what is almost a week here) and for what we can see we dont espect probolems at all.

the quility is verry high. real 100% linn (cloth)
ok, just 2 bad pics(made with phone).

Litle update, Motor is leaking oil so next week its going to the car dokter to find out where its leaking and whats the best choise to repair/change the motor.

about the top.... still work on it. ^o)
bloody person who instal it was crazy with sticky tape. :smackface
lame with perfection and verry sloppy with instal it so i have to fix that morrons problems first.

So for the wiseguys who plannend to instal a top 2: NEVER EVER RUSH!!!!!
Its so irritating when you must solved problems witch where created by lazy people who didnt take time for it. :banghead

Now first i have to make sure some rust is gone, put tectyle on it, paint it black so the iron in the top wil stay good for many years.
than i have to make sure the new top is installed correctly(little bit fucked up when you dont have the correct sample before you :coffee )
some times i wonder WHY it never goes so simple ass plannend but always some litle problems. a welll whats the fun of life without challenges :D
^o)

On that oil leak, why not wipe any fresh oil off the engine, distributor and transmission and after the next drive pop the bonnet and see where there is fresh oil? We can help with that if you want to save a trip to the doctor. ^o)

Ok wel its back again.
2 rubbers in the engine were fucked up. sow let that change.
new distribution belt(timing belt i gues)
and.... replace a sporty aftermarket gear knob for a original one.
its drives now like a lady... smooth, sweet and makes you begging for more ^o) B-)

So treat the paint.
its now like new again.

Verry satisfight about the result.
(and verry proud on myself thats it all come together so perfect.(especcely the top))

I spent four years in W. Germany (before the wall came down).
I learned to speak Deutsche well enough to fool a lot of the nationals. :rocker (this helped me quite often in the local Gasthaus) :beer (und mit Die Madchen) ;) ;)
I understand most Nederlandische, cause it is so close to Deutsch. The rest I translate.
I miss the Nordzustande, I was stationed just south of Bremerhaven, and I think it is some of the most beautiful country I have been to. :backpack :rad
I did spend a weekend in die Niederlande, but didn't quite make it to Amsterdam. :smackface

Als ik het ooit over het water achter maak, zal ik omhoog u kijken. :cheers

Well... not to torture the other ones i keep on continu in English :D

Little updates:

1. have put an carborateur cleaner in it.
And put a new rotor + *verdeelkap* on it.
dont know the english word.
its sometimes want to shut down and sometimes it will not start properly.

so i put the 2 parts on it to make sure they are not the problem and put the cleaner in it so i hope i blow the dirt out ^o)

Sometimes(now often) its look like its got no fuel.
so i have to put the pedal to the metal and then with a litttle play it turns good on again.

Verry irritating problem hopefully solved verry quickly now

I replaced the top on my Miata a few months ago. It took me about 2 weeks (I'm slow). The biggest surprise for me was that the top continued to stretch for 2 months (it was VERY tight when I put it on). Don't be shocked when you see the same thing.
