I am planning to rebuild my 94 in the next few months and was wondering if someone could give me a list of everything you need to do one so i can get prices. I am planning on getting the 3tech head also. Me and my good friend/auto tech teacher are going to do it im excited.

Well, if you are getting the complete head with your choice of cam and gears, then do you want to rebuild the bottom end? The basic needs for this job are............... Head gasket kit Timing Belt Water Pump Piston rings Rod bearings (if needed) |

I would also add an oil pump to that, or at least a front crank oil seal. Its the same seal as the camshaft seal (timing gear side). You will probably get one in the gasket kit (Fel-Pro provides one in their kit anyway) so just order another camshaft seal when you order the gasket kit. |

You guys are pretty smart by planning ahead. Dont try to rush the job when you start. You can get by with it if you are a pro like like Mr Mullet and some of the others. Be sure to remember the check valve. Good luck Looking forward to your progress. Its quite a feeling to know that you take a engine apart and put it back together as good as new or better.
