I found a 1992 Xfi at my local junk yard with 153,000 miles on it. I can get the cam and PCM for only $30 bucks. I was wondering if you guys think it would be worth just swapping them in? I have a 1995 1.0 liter 5 speed. I had problems with low mileage at first but, I solved that with changing out the front brake calibers and slowing down to 60 on my comute to work. I am now enjoying a much improved 44-47 mpg. I don't know if these two can just be changed out but, I am pretty sure these are hard to come by, right? If I can, does anyone know what kind of increase in mileage this will give me alone? As of this afternoon the parts car is complete and I wanted to check with my tech guys before I do anything. Much thanks guys! |

great price, easy change over, if you decide not to use it you could make $$$ selling them |

The cam will work, but not sure about the computer since things changed in 1995. |
