Fear the Mullet

So after breakfast this morning, I hear a noise, but paid no mind. About a minute later I looked out side and seen a car in the ditch and two kids standing outside the car. No sooner than I made sure the kids were OK, and got the old Chevy Truck out of the garage, the Highway Patrol was there..........![]() ![]() I offered to pull them out of the ditch.............. ![]() ![]() Shortly after, the one kid's dad showed up with his truck and trailer. He said for me to yank it out since he had to unhook. The car came right out after I put it in 4X4 and the kid got a ticket while the dad pulled the car up to his trailer........ ![]() Nobody was hurt |

Looks a bit greener there now than it was in January! Do you know why the kid went into the ditch? |

good man for helping out a couple stuck motorist's. but one question mullet, how did the car get there. from what i see in the pic's it is a stright road wit no intersections in the area. so how the heck did they get the car 90 degree's to the road and in a ditch? |

They said a deer ran out in front of them, but you would think they would see it coming across the field

Stealth deer technology. A ticket for what? Blocking the road? Interrupting the cop's donut break? Looks like a high crime neighborhood from those pics. My sister-in-law's car was hit by a young girl, icy road, going to fast, totaled the car. Couple of weeks later we hear a noise in our front yard. A car missed the turn into the alley and dropped 2 feet into our snow covered front yard, paused then drove on through. Yep, you guessed it, same girl. |

i dispute the relevance of the state trooper's purpose there except to do anything but make money off of the tax payers. johnny however, a good Samaritan offered to pull out the car - and he's not being payed an hourly wage to do that either. |

Cops use the "FTC" ticket for kids they think are screwing off and wreck. Some are jerks about it...I've seen a lot issued during winter in conditions where you could basically lean on a car and make it slide. The cop says you shouldn't have been driving unless you could control it but sometimes you have to go to work. My stepdad is a trooper and a little more forgiving...although once he got a call about cars in a ditch over a hill and responded...and ended up in the ditch next to them! |

My wife has here own business... Maybe you should consider that. A few lights on the top, a couple of road cones, and a sticker on the door. I would call it Pooman's towin. A business license costs very little... |

That's a good point with the insurance. I did not think about that. My wife's business (wedding photography) requires very little additional insurance, but I guess towing would require a lot more. |
