According to this Motor Trend article, they're not likely to offer the 3 cyl or diesel engines in the US .-1 for the iQ, looks like the Metro is still safe as everyone's favorite 3 cyl (in the US anyway )

Yup.... Just like the smart..... Many of our popular cars from the big 3 are diesel in other countries and much more efficient. I hope the mpg is based from the US gallon vs imperial gallon as that can skew the fuel economy to 47mpg. I love my new xb, its got the camry drivetrain and hauls ass while getting 31mpg. Its like an suv without the poor fuel economy. Easily fit 5 large adults inside with cargo room in the back. |
