Another thing you might check is bearings in pulleys as well as throwout bearings at the auto parts store. Most pulleys use standard bearings anymore. I've done this mostly with idlers and tensioners but it is amazing how often you can buy the cheapest pulley or a $5 throwout bearing and fix a pulley that would normally cost $30-50 to replace. |

Junker's post (with the video) noted the bearing was a "model 6303"... a quick google search turned up this site/source for bearings... well worth checking out...note: the price........$4.95 ! Looks like they supply bearings by size and/or application. ----->>Clik Here<, or go to: http://www.vxb.com/, for more info. . -------> ![]() keep on roll' n... How about ABEC ratings? I see 3rd party (cheap) bearings are ABEC 3 rated (motor duty). Is this sufficient or should I spring for a higher rated front bearing? EDIT: I think the bearing PN 6303 is wrong. Looking up #'s in GM Parts Giant I got suzuki pn 31582-60A21 which is a 15x47x14 bearing. The 6303 is 17x47x14 Which one is right for the Mitsubishi alternator? Edited by JellyBeanDriver, Jun 22 2010, 12:52 AM.
