Oh, yea, Vegas. Anybody seen the movie The Hangover? I watch it occasionally on www.justin.tv/directory/entertainment, pretty funny. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Heather Graham.

I'd be interested but not sure how the car would handle the heat with the air conditioner on this time of the year. |

Welcome to the forum, 3cylofury and amorano! Overhead, that's good amorano. It's raining in Ohio. Yea, a Vegas Geopalooza would have to be in the Fall/Spring. We did Death Valley Junction in late April and it was OK. My Geo does heat better than I do. October-November and March-May might be best for planning. Reno is about 1/2 way between Mexico and Canada and equidistant from Denver. The same goes for the weather. |

I lived in Vegas 30+ years, It is highly overrated. And did I mention hot! It will be 100+ at mid night tonight. But the water temp in Lake Mead will be about 82.

I can see how you might think it's "Over rated" if you lived and worked there. But if your visiting on vacation in Vegas, it can be like Disneyland for adults. |

That's funny, Mr Murf. OK, OK, how about Rachel, Nevada? No distractions... unless you count UFO's and Area 51 as distractions. Maybe someone gets abducted! Two hours, 15 minutes north of Vegas at 65 mph (150 mi). Nothing to do but talk about Geos, watch for UFOs, talk Geos and cruise State Highway 375, the Extraterrestrial Highway.![]()

All I have to say is this........... If you would like to get an event started, pick a date, place, and time and post it! No need to go all out or anything, just meet up! I give you all permission to use the Geopalooza name
