Yup, Ill be there about 8-9 am or so. I live in Richmond about 2 hours from Paul. I am usually busy with work and being my parents taxi. I will have my metro there. In the future my hybrid to get some help with the oem block heater.

If you want to make a day of it there is a car show going on in colonial heights at the south park mall, exit 52 on i95 I believe, thats roughly hour and half from Paul if you want to ride down. Ive been told by the experts to never nenter a local car show for fear of thieft or robbery as they can scope out your vehicle.

Paul is off the Lynn Heaven exit of 64(SP?) down the road from a very, very, very slow McDonalds.

Here is the site for more show info in Colonial Heights.

F-burg isnt too far away, just dont expect service less than 45 minutes if you stop in the Thornburg exit McD. They had a line out the door for the cashier and for the mens bathroom.

I just don't like Micky D's.
I go there for my Grandson, cause he likes it and I do like a Big Mac now and then.
Other than that I have no reason or desire to go.

McDonald's makes me sick (literally, and not literally) , I used to eat there all the time. I started eating "healthy" a few years ago, and ever since then McDonald's disgusts me. Half the time everything is covered in grease and/or hair. Their ketchup taste like it was made with rotten tomatoes and dog crap. The ONLY think I will eat there (that I am paying for) is ice cream, it's pretty hard to screw that up.

Hey Metroschultz,
Thanks for the kind words. We'll get together sometime. Sooner then later I hope. Maybe throw something together this spring/summer? I just mapquested your address & was right on in guessing about where you live. I kinda figured it out after seeing some of your house/neighborhood photos from a while back. Looked like the ones next to I 44. I grew up in Norfolk in Poplar Halls, across from Miltary Circle. You ever check out Upper Wolfsnare Plantation up the road from you on Potters Rd? My wife was born at "the beach" & lived at the plantation house for a few years when she was a kid.

I use to live in the PeachTree Community in Portsmouth, so kind of know the area too. Went to the Churchland school system. Thats like 20 years ago. Next to anywhere in West VA, VABeach is my second favorite part of VA to be.

I like the chicken sandwiches, egg biscuits, double fish and mcflurrys at mcds. I seldom eat there anymore. My lunch is a philly chicken sandwich from the wawa station down the road where I work.

metroschultz, I dont know if Potter checked, we need to get some info. My radio installations are via crutch field kits. What are the radios you have and do you have the pig tails, connectors for or from the radios?

What car or cars are they going into? Do those have the oem connector or a previous aftermarket radio? You putting 2 radios in 1 car or the better of the two?

I got a double to single din adapter for my metro at advance auto and a pig tail. My radio is a sony with generic connectors for speakers, power, antenna, amp, cd changer. So, you take the connector and wire it up so it works in the car, then 2 sets of rca cables and the din cable for the cd changer.

When I get radios from the junkyard, I pull and cut the wires far back as possible, so I have all the special funny connectors to put it in another car. Then get the matching connector from crutchfield.

As for speakers, those are fairly generic. Get something the same side if not physically larger, highest wattage as possible. Dont be surprise if you need to do some drilling, splicing, etc. Most speaker kits come with connectors and leads.

If its a buick and metro, yeah, advance auto carriers the harness and din adapter. Its the radios he wants to install that is the question. Did he get the whole radio with harness, are these aftermarket with all wires, connectors or from the pick n pull from another vehicle?
