WHEN IT COMES TO BUILDING A HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINE.....PICK TWO OF THE THREE

1. POWERFUL

2. RELIABLE

3. CHEAP

:die
This is so true and I've seen it many times.
:thumb
SO true

my self i would like to have a built N/A engine, stroker crank HIGH compression pistons and still do the big audio system that i want (witch is gonna be cheep because i have 85% of everything i need)
and the body work that i want.
But we are talking anoter 4-5 grand :( oh well might not happen this year, but something to save up for

I reckon the 3 tech head and the SRD header will be a good place to start.

OMG what a nightmare! We started tearing down the old motor @ around 4am. We ran into countless problems during the rebuild, but finally we finished it around 11pm tonight.

All I have to say is wow! It is SO freaking strong for a metro and it isnt even boosted... I now highly recommend the 365/222 cam!

I will post some pictures up here soon, but for now I'm going to bed! I will definatly have to get a driving video on here for you guys!

UPDATE: Sorry to 56k users.... Big Pics! :D

Well as you probably know from my other Post, my frame broke.... I hopefully should be getting that fixed sometime next week or later? (depending on how quick he can get my my car)

But in the meantime I've been doing stuff to the car that doesn't require driving it. Also I have ordered a few new parts for when I get it back on the road (I got my refund FYI).

As far as the drivability I think I may have found ONE? of the issues.... I was poking around the engine bay with the engine running when all of a sudden the idle changed, I had just moved the IAT sensor wires, I found out that one of the wires had broken and was making an intermittent connection. I got some new wire and soldered it in, then whole engine sound has changed and sounds much like it did before, more responsive when reving and not bogging.....it still has a little bit of blowby out of the PCV hose which I found odd for a fresh rebuild but hopefully its still seating or maybe my cylinders were a little out of round?

The only video I have is where I was diagnosing the very strange vacuum issues I am having with the new motor....
