My geo is bogging down at around 45mph. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

If your car is low on power, there is one important test to do. Rent or borrow a compression tester and test all cylinders. Report back with those readings and we will go from there before you start throwing parts at it.

So, does it power back up past 45 or 55? Mines use to do that, I sometimes had to use 4th gear to maintain 55 on slight grades. I got a temp fix by getting the 3tech 10 degree cam gear, but I need a rebuild of my engine.

Sorry guys I've been gone for awhile on my job and haven't had a chance to look at it much. The fortunate thing is my dad filled the car up with 98 octane and drove it while I was gone. So far its not been doing ok. I took a compression test today any way and came up with 120-120-135. Thanks.

:shake Not good as you may already know. Did you follow the Ryan guide: Compression test.
A Seafoam treatment wouldn't hurt.

Those numbers are below the factory minimum of 156 PSI. It will run for awhile with low numbers, but not very well and eventually will need a rebuild.
