New Member Posts: 22 Group: Members Member #508 Joined: Feb 24, 2009 Location Louisville, KY Year/Make/Model 1991 Geo Metro Convertible	Yesterday I had new garage doors installed. The Overhead door installer saw my near mint yellow 91 Geo Vert. He told me about 10 years ago he and his buddies would buy the two door models for about $200 and go out on his farm and sat up a ramp to see who could roll over the most times. They would go up the ramp on the left wheel and roll over to the right. My first impression was to kick this guys ass. He said the bodies would hold up really good but more surprising the little cars would keep on running. After the roll over contest was over, they would haul them to the local chrusher. No spare parts saved. By this time I am sick and want this guy to be gone. Guys, I have heard it all about these wonderful little cars, but this takes the cake. Lee

Some of mines own a 3 cylinder gas battery 2 seater. The first insight hybrid by Honda. Other Honda owners are cool with it too. After all Honda has made some small 3 door hatch backs and a few 3 cylinders too.

I am going to PUT a windup key on the back :-) Heheh, I had the same idea, having gone far enough in the planning to include a ratcheting system (for that wind up sound) and included a configuration using pulley belts to 'turn' the key while driving. In case your wondering, the first time I thought of this was for a 60's Corvair, which had the ideal (for this idea) rear engine setup. The two problems with ah, the plan as I wanted to do it, was that the 'key' was going to be a semi permenant fixture, and that would have limited access to the engine/trunk. Also, around here anyway, I could picture cars driving in back of me going WTF and driving off the road, I was pretty sure the police wouldn't appreciate my artistic bent (again, around here)

Big deal. It's just a car. I could understand getting angry if it was your car they rolled. But they didn't.
