They don't really make a "programmer" for a Geo, it doesn't have enough technology for it. lol

I tried one of the $2 'resistors' and got nothing, It simply tried to convince my ECM that the engine was cold. :smackface

Being somewhat conservative I got the +10 degree cam gear and only the 218/350 cam grind from 3Tech. It was the most significant performance increase I've had. Second would be the header, exhaust and crankshaft pulley. Other stuff listed below, might have freed up a few horses, eh.

It drives like a well tuned 4 cylinder. I'm very happy. :D

The only way to get more power from a 3 cylinder is mechanically. Throwing numbers at it ain't gonna do shit :)

Some say...

While you could reverse engineer the ECU, and roll your own, to allow full control over power and efficiency, it wouldn't really be worth it compared to how easy it is to swap the cam.

Electrically, I simply increased the grounds with a grounding kit off eBay.. I've read welding wire works very well also.
My coil, alternator, transmission, Distributor, and Throttle Body are individually directly battery grounded which is double grounded to the frame. The block is frame grounded on the front and passenger side. Click: Is there such a thing as too large a ground ? Metro Fanatic is going solar... 92 Silver Geo metro LSi.

someone in here has stated
" geo metros are tuned for low rpm torque "

why not exploit that strength , if you want speed and raw neck snapping power , get an audi

if you want to drive in class and frugality ...
drive a geo metro
............................................
there is no economically feasible way to make a .22 perform like a 44 magnum.
but
if you handload you can get a measured 3950 fps from a 22-250 with a 50 grain nosler ballistic tip bullet and winchester 748 powder
no 44 magnum can ever approach that velocity .
but the 22-250 can not duplicate the stopping power of the 44 magnum at 1/3 the speed of the 22-250 .
