Hi everyone,

here is another member from the Netherlands,

My name is William (or willem in dutch) i'm 21 year old and this is my 1997 Subaru Justy( equal to a swift mk4, except it has an All Wheel Drive system with a viscous coupling to distribute the power between the 4 wheels.

if you look closely to the skidmarks going towards the rear wheels....you will notice that the All Wheel drivetrain can be a lot of fun :whistle

Things done to it so far:

- apex lowering springs and GTi shocks
- 15 inch 5-spoke white wheels
- Autoplastic-a fornt bumper
- custom rear bumper ( standard bumper, but lowered by 4 inches)
- Gti sideskirts
- tinted rear windows
- adjustable bucket seats and 4 point seat-belts
- running 98 octane fuel with advanced ignition
- strut braces: upper, lower and rear

audio: - LG head unit
- jbl 6,5" compo set in the front doors
- 200w sub in custom enclosure ( so there is still some space left in the trunk)
- 300 watt amplifier which drives both the sub and the jbl's in front

Because i don't live to far from the nurburgring in germany, the car has also seen that track a few times, great fun with the AWD drivetrain, it even tends to oversteer when being driven a bit too enthousiastic

Waiting to get on the track:

I got to overtake that BMW in a corner, and that with only 70 BHP :D

But now i'm stuck with a problem, and that is that i'm not getting any fuel, but already posted that in the tech part of this forum,

Greetings,

William

Oh no, now I hate you even more. :D Your car is gorgeous and you've had it on the Nordschleife! Last picture appears to be the bridge just before Ex-Muhle?

I'm jealous of the car and the fact you got to drive it on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Thanks for the nice reactions everyone :D

It's been great fun driving it for the last two years....i bought it completely stock and started modifying it step by step.

@ Woodie: Yes, that's the corner over there, near the Ex-muhle. I had a friend standing over there in the galleries with his digital camera to take some pictures when I passed by and another friend next to me in the car to take some on-board footage. The nurburgring isn't really that far away from where i live, about a hundred miles, so if I like i can take the car for a spin on a sunday morning, drive a lap and get back to home before noon. And ofcourse the de-restricted Autobahn is a lot of fun, I had it up to 185km/h there, something like around 110 mph, but at that speed there still are cars passing you as if you drive as slow like a truck:P

All those nice reactions motivate me a lot for fixing it again, the last month it has been standing around, doing nothing due to some engine-related troubles :(

Recognized that turn right away, as it means Ex-Muhe, then Bergwerk, then the long romp up the hill toward Karussell. Love that uphill portion, think it's called Kessenchin or something, for some reason I was always fast through there.

I've done about 1,000 laps there in computer simulations, mostly Grand Prix Legends, know it like the back of my hand, one of these days I'm going there.

As fast as I can make my car it'll never be all wheel drive. Shame they never made it here to the states. Have fun with that thing!
