Finally got under the hood today to try and test the coolant temp sensor (never really warms up according to gauge). To my surprise, there is no wire going to the sensor, and I don't know where it should be coming from. Where does the (missing) wire go to? Sensor to where? Thanks in advance. |

I'm on my phone, so it's hard to copy and paste the correct picture, but go to my how to thread on pulling a G10, you'll find a clear picture of the sensor and the wire and where that wire comes from. |

Thanks for the reply's Did more searching through old posts and found this; http://geometroforum.com/topic/1374371/1/#new I don't feel too dumb, since I'm not the only one that's done that before ( followed the Haynes manual into confusion.)

for picture, click -->Temp guage sensor ....same on '93 g10. it's the single wire sender unit, next to the 2 wire "radiator fan motor temp sensor". Edited by pancakeron, Jan 26 2010, 02:12 AM.
