Okay update time. We checked the spark plugs. They looked fine and were getting spark. We checked the distributor. No corrosion or anything horrible going on there. We checked the fuel pump. It was pumping. We checked the timing belt. It was on and in good shape. So i'm ready for the next set of suggestions. Maybe I should just take it to the mechanic. Well first I would like to say the video was a nice touch! Real good deal on that. In fact it would have been nice to have seen under the hood as well. From the sound of your engine turning over. You can tell the belt is on. Did you pour some gas in the top to see if it would run on that? What did the spark plugs look like? Carboned up or clean or what? I would venture to say you have compression. With gas and fire that car will crank. Personally I dont think you are getting gas into the engine. Just my two cents worth! I do not know if that car has a inertia switch or not, maybe someone else will. Your car might be flooded as well. If the plugs are fuel soaked it might take a new set to get it going. |

Ok there is the under the hood view. Yes we checked with the gas, it was spraying like it was supposed to. The spark plugs looked clean and not overly corroded. It may be flooded but since I don't know anything about cars i'll have to have my friend come over and check for that. |

Well one other thing comes to mind. Most likely not your problem but it is a problem on a lot of vehicles. A stopped up cataylitic converter will not let it breath and exhaust therefore not starting. Johnny its a 92. Did 92 have onboard diagnoses? |

Pretty sure there was compression. Air was coming out of the spark plug hole when I tried to start it. |

Unicron7 had compression like this too, his didn't start either. Pulled the head and what did I find? 3 burnt exhaust valves... |

Ok, he said the car was running and all of a sudden it aint. Was this car missing and shaking pretty bad before it quit totatlly? A good sign of burnt valves. |

No it was driving fine. I drove it one day and then I tried to start it the following night and it wouldn't start. There was no shaking or sputtering at all the last time it worked. |

This may sound stupid but how do I know which ones are the spares and which ones are already serving some function? |

I think I figured it out. I plugged it in and it flashed at me flash ------ flash flash. I'm assuming this means 12 which would mean no faults. |
