1990 geo metro; electrical diagnostics and engine maintence

IAT Sensor Circuit
i have a 1990 geo one of many. and the check engine light fashed a 13 and 23 after research this is wahat i was pointed to for codes on geos

i am wanting to fix all the problems and was wondering if any one had more light to shine on my project. was wondering if changing my o2 will make code 13 go away and what will make 23 go away :banghead

The IAT is behind the air cleaner and is probably not plugged it. The O2 sensor code is a circuit code, so check the wiring to the O2 sensor. Mwebb will probably chime in with test details.

Also might want to renew the ground connection on the intake manifold. Most sensors share that same ground, could be that both sensors are good, just aren't getting a good ground reference.
