Crossed fuel lines.

I have always paid close attention how fuel lines route but during a recent rebuild I had cut a rotten line off and was not paying much attention what went where. My question is has anyone crossed the fuel lines on a g10 and would it run in that condition? Mine seems to be running rather rich and the check engine light is on. Idles fine. If the return line was switched with the inlet line would it run? Any one have some pictures as to what fuel line goes to where and which is the return.

No pics here. But I did that on my old Corolla. It would run out of fuel when the gauge said 1/4 tank. The good news was, if you turned from side to side to slosh the fuel around. You could go about another 100 miles.

Thanks but it was a differant setup. He disconnected everything from the looks of it! I just unsnapped a few things and set intake and head all off in one assembly. Guess I will just switch he fuel lines around and see what happens.

Aren't they different diameters? I thought the return was a smaller hose than the supply.

Well so much for the fuel line crossed senario. The vaccum line had jumped off at the map sensor. It was still running pretty good without it. Usually when a map sensor is acting up they will run some kind of terrible. The doctor is ready to ride awhile now!

I'm thinking it was the nuclear component of the fuel system that blew the line...but, that's just speculation. :P
