Wow guy's, I've bought numerous sets on Ebay, and have never broke one that wasn't caused by me, or lack of maintenance. The only two reasons they broke for me is, 1-- It was -25 below zero , the door was froze shut, and I still tried to tug on the handle. ![]() 2-- The mechanism inside the door (latch assembly) was so gummed up, that my wife would pull up on the handle so hard, she finally broke one. If your doors don't "POP" open, there has to be something wrong, either the door is not lined up correctly, or the mechanism need to be cleaned and lubed. |

Im thinking about making one out of metal too. If you have intact plastic ones get some gorilla glue and just make a small film all over the back of it. That stuffs strong enough to hold it together. |

broke a lf outside handle on my 93, looked to be the origonal one. new one still going strong for over a year. rf inside handle broken, inside handles are crap. but it also looked like an origonal, so i guess it lasted. i just ordered a set from ebay for both inside front's. i'll see how long they last. |
