As much as I do love my little car there are a couple things I don't like:

#1. The crappy kind of marblelike finish of the dashboard.

#2. The sun visors.

#3. No tilt steering wheel.

#4. That it's an automatic, I would have preferred a stick.

The stupid government mandated "Passive restraint system" also known as the door mounted seat belts, no easy acess to the hatch release from the intirior, no power nothin but hey im hopefully gonna remedy all of these things soon.

I dont like the fact my leg is always hitting the console on the right. I cut mine most of the way out but it still hits. I love the fact it dont take but a NewYork minute to wash because its so small. And you can whip that sucker into a parking spot with ease!

Intermittent wipers would be my only complaint.

This is you, so you must be online

The fact that I can't drive it yet because of the transmission issue (common sun, dry out this place so I can work on her!)

Solution for door mounted seat belts: Find an 89 in the junk yard and pilfer it's belts. Before the mandate they were mounted to the pillar like a normal car. Also can source the parts from other markets that didn't have those belts.

Johnny, no interment wipers in your car? My 93 has um... but no mist function. In fact, none of my cars have that. Only my buddies old Toyota pickup he let me borrow has that. I'm thinking of mounting a little button on the end of the stalk to momentarily activate the low speed wipers.

So can't drive my 2000 and no mist function on my 93. That's what bothers me.

I agree with Johnny, delay wipers would be a big plus, also ride "quality" is an issue despite 4 new(recent) struts(sensa-tracs) but considering the HUGE economy advantage these cars exhibit, I DON'T CARE. I'll come up with 'pulse' wipers and what-not.

No rear wiper even tho I have the know for it, no intermittent wipers, wipers don't activate when you spray washer fluid (have to turn it on to low or high speed) also my wipers don't return to their fully down position most of the time when I turn them off mid wipe (any one know why?)

P.S. I had a 76 Capri II (i.e. "crappy") it had a cool foot operated washer-wiper pump/switch, which worked pretty well, you could spray bugs or 'wipe' bugs as needed, it was pretty cool. Too bad i smashed it, all-in-all a fun car.

My first impressions (I grew out of some)

Chintzy interior, no tilt steering, no cruise control, door mounted seatbelts, poor soundproofing, crap stock radio, poor headlights, crappy wipers, buzzy engine, not enough gear in first (15 mph sounds like your killing it) not enough gear in 5th (65 sounds like your killing it too), suspension sucks: rolls in corners worse than an old caddy!, follows road ruts and dips

But I love it! Besides, I fixed about five of these things and can fix a couple more.

The horn button locations. Two little buttons on either side of the wheel on my '93 vert with airbag and the fact that pushing dead center on my hatchback's wheel doesn't activate it on my '94.

Adjustable intermittent wipers would be nice.

Heat that blows out more than just one side of my foot would be nice.

Who designed that gap at the bottom of the hood? Let's find them and hang them up <G>.

The design of the trunk lid / vert top and design of the door pillars on a vert. Blows my mind that you have to open the trunk lid to clean your vert top.

BUT, none of this stuff bothers me that much. I like my Geos. I wish they handled like a Miata but glad they get double the Miata's MPG!
