hello everybody I was just wonderoing if anyone knew where i could find some lowering springs for my 1993 geo metro. The suspension is really soft and I'm looking to stiffening it up a bit n lower the car down a bit. However i do already have 15" rims with low pro's so if anyone knows where I can find these or if there is another vehicle with compatible springs i would love to know. :type

Thank you very much.

Cut the springs 1 coil each, that will give you optimum handling and about an inch drop. I did and its still a decent ride and it lost that cadillac like roll that it does when cornering hard.

-OR-

Buy these H&R Lowering Springs They drop your car 1.4 in front and 1.3 in back I believe.

I have to ask if you have changed the struts? :hmm

That and chad's spring cutting would do it. I'd cut the springs if I didn't have a low Catalytic converter/header and 3" ruts in the snow and ice to deal with. :banghead

thanks guys i think i'm just going 2 cut them because the springs cost $250 w/ shipping and thats bout what i paid for the car. On a different note i went to the local junkyard yesterday and found two metros the first a '93 plum purple sedan, the second a '92 jet black 2dr hatch. my heart sank a bit bt i was relieved 2 find a very clean interior in the hatch i will b returning for the backseats very soon. Haha

Be careful on how much you cut off. On of our friends here cut like 2 coils and it was to much. I did 1 coil and it came out to about 2" lowering. And SRD sells a set of springs too. Its about the same money.
