I just noticed a bunch of good diagnostic people online, so I am bumping.

Oh, let me say this...the exhaust manifold was INSANELY easy to get off. Soaked with WD40 for 15 minutes, then again for 15 minutes. I don't think they would have given me any trouble even without WD40.

speaker wire- i used 3 lengths. first 5", second 8", last one 11" my intake was pretty clogged up too... reason for the multi lengths was so it didnt bind up while drill was spinning. brake cable works too

I ended up using a brake cable from the exhaust manifold to the L beside the EGR.

I also cleaned the manifold, I almost forgot about that.

Working on the TPS as we speak. Just FYI, the bolts on the downpipe are NOT coming off. :P

Did another compression test: 190, 190, 155. ARGHH number three!

Still soaking those bolts in WD40, hope I can break it loose this weekend. Still contemplating what to do... I am going to lower it this weekend too. :) I'll post (another) write up.

TPS is still acting up.

Get some Kroil or PBlaster for those rusty bolts. WD-40 is just one step better than spraying your garden hose on them.

Oh it's PBlaster, I call pretty much anything like that WD40. haha

Alright, got all the exhaust port cleaned out completely, still haven't got the downpipe bolts off. :( Do I seafoam it now that I have gotten the EGR done?

Completely took the exhaust off, trying to figure out what kind of exhaust I want to run.

So PBlaster did NOTHING for my downpipe bolts, absolutely nothing. I guess I didn't soak it enough. 3 foot pipe and MAP gas did pretty good.

Bought some spring compressors from HF, i've been meaning to lower it for a while...

1/2 coil in the back, 1 in the front? 1/2 on both?

I did one side, and I cut about a coil off, that lowered it....a 1/4" in comparison to the other side... Something seems wrong. Could I have put the strut back together wrong?

Here is the top of the strut, this leveled out once we got weight on it. I thought I put it all back together right...

Sir, yes sir!

Don't worry. People are reading your thread. Just watch the view counts go up!

I know, I post lots of stuff to my project thread and don't get responses but it doesn't mean nobody is watching.

We love you!
