Well, you can go ahead and take it personally if you want. :lol

I love the Lewis Black, Steve Martin and Cleavon Little also.

OH, the car, compare the two sides? How they sit in the car. Could be how the strut is sitting in the tower? I don't recall such a space in the strut as you have in the picture but my memory..... :'(

Got it set down like I thought it should. Still didn't change anything.

I'm in the process of cutting the rear springs. 1 coil all the way around.

I didn't measure the before, because I didn't really feel like it. :P

this is 1 coil in the front, and 3/4ish in the back. I would suggest 1/2 in the back, or 1-1/4 in the front with 1 in the back.

I'll get better pics in the daylight, I just looked at how blurry those are.

The rotors on my Geo aren't wearing right, or at least not what I think is right? How do I rebuild a caliper?

Looks like one side is higher than the other, not sure what's going on, but I can't do anything about it. I cut them the same length, but it's just not sitting right.

:hmm I believe you may be wrong. I used your pictures and held a straight edge up to my screen at the same points. Select the same points on your car, like the bottom corner of the bumper and the corner of the door and the body creases that align with the middle of the tire sidewall. They look really close to me. You can do the same thing with a piece of string.

hey coch, drive your car around. when i cut my springs it looked like the body was lower on the left. After about a week it seemed to level out and it looks good now. I think everything had to just settle in.

O and look at your brake pad, is it making full contact with the rotor? From the inside to the outside of the pad? sometimes they make rotors where not all of the surface is used by the brake pad.

Well, as BB suggests, it looks right in the pictures, but if you want to make damn double sure, get some construction paper/cardboard and make a template of the two wheel wells on one side.

Make sure you car is on (as) flat a ground as possible, no bumps / rises / etc as that will throw off measurements. Then just use the template as a gauge. If your +/- 1/16, I doubt you would notice it riding around, but of course closer always = better.

Now, if you find yourself off by > 1/16" you can always get some thin metal shims and make up the difference. don't go crazy trying to be too anal. Good luck :thumb

Yeah, I think it's settling out. Now to move on to the exhaust, i'm thinking about running a cherry bomb right after the cat, or possibly put the resonator and a few feet of pipe.

Actually, I recommend throwing them right up your muffler ! But, considering they are so cheap [ China Cherry Bomb Crackers: pack of 6 / $ 10.00 ] I suppose it wouldn't hurt to put them everywhere you wanted to all at once ~!

Well, I did an alignment because I felt the urge to do one. I'm pretty sure I got it pretty close. It still turns easier right than it does left, if that makes any sense. What causes this?

Little DIY alignment stuff.
I took 3 pieces of plywood, cut one in half as the top plate. Shimmed the left side a little with a magazine. Then I put 1 piece of the plywood on top of it, with some table salt, smoothed out, and then the smaller piece on top of that. Then I raised it up and sat the two "alignment blocks" and did the rest of the alignment stuff.
