Hi, I have a 95 Geo Metro with a 4 cylinder. My wife bought it in 98 I think. Since then we had a baby so I bought a small SUV for her to drive so that little me and her would have a bit more protection encase the unthinkable were to happen. Sooo that's when I started using the car as a commuter. I wasn't very kind to the poor feller and after about 4 years of abuse its in need of care. Last year I bought a truck and the Geo has sense been sitting. I would crank it every once and a while and let friends barrow it when they needed something to drive. Well the other morning my truck wouldn't start.(bad starter) No big deal I jump in the trusty Metro and off to work I go. About 10 miles down the road the valves start making a racket as I pull in to the next gas station I see lots of smoke in the mirror. To make a long story a little shorter I tow the car home look under the hood and find that there is a lot of oil on the outside of the motor and not very much on the inside So I sat down behind the keyboard to do a little research and found you guys ! I'd like to rebuild the motor and make it a little more fun to drive. |
