Although it is not Metro related, I pulled an old electric can opener out of our trash can (my wife didn't want it any longer). Kept the thing for about 3 years and then used it as parts to rebuild the fan in our bathroom. My wife still jokes that she can take a shower and cook soup at the same time. |

Oh, don't know if this counts but I just built a drum kit out of two sets of XBox 360 Rock Band drums. I still need to build some brackets to physically hook the frames together but I run them through a PC and make drums sounds with them (you can see the PC on the right in the 2nd picture). Sounds just like the real thing. The right foot pedal is the bass drum and the left foot pedal is "alternate sound" for the top rack of drum pads (i.e. high hat open or high hat closed). The drums play through the speakers on the left. The guitar in the 2nd picture is not hooked up to an amp but is instead hooked up to the computer on the right where it is fed through simulated amps as well. The small computer speakers cannot handle the bass guitar though so I feed it through the amp on the far right. |

Ive got 4 cars out in my yard, too many pets, and I live in a country town of Arkansas. Once me and a friend towed my car across 2 towns using nothing but jumper cables and ducktape. Ducktape for the win! |

Yeah, like anyone cares but I built a frame for the 2nd set of drums from PVC today (no more sitting them on a box). I also made a wall mount to hang the guitars. Everything is looking good - now all I have to do is learn how to play. |

Hell yea that's. Pretty kick ass, and it looks as though you got a computer right their as well. So you can pull guitar tabs off the web. Nice drum set as well. If I ever get down their to visit I might try that bad boy out. |

my friend and i made a frame out of 2x4 to pull the trans out of his trans am. with a well placed wood frame and a floor jack, pulled trans and replaced clutch and reinstalled trans. (what a bitch of a job by the way.) my work buddy bought one of those outside wood boiler furnaces. he used a sump pump for the water pump, and a big azz heater core with a furnace fan and a lot of heater hose for the inside unit. he's a redneck in the full sense. not too much else comes to mind at the moment. |

The drums setup, I had myself and my computer in a corner, then 2 drum sets around me closing me into it. It was pretty awesome, I had 4 pedals and 8 drums. I took it apart later, I couldn't figure out what exactly I would do with it, I just did it to see if I could lol. |

I also used an old fountain pump closed up in a water tight electrical junction box as a reservoir and pump for a watercooling setup on my PC. I was considering switching to oil cooling: put motherboard in 5 gallon bucket, attach a water pump and car radiator to the bucket, fill it with mineral oil. turn on the pump, and tape a box fan to the radiator. MASSIVE cooling, very cheap Make sure the drives are out of the bucket HD's don't like oil

Finnaly figgured out how to do pictures on the droid so ill show y'all my other baby Its a mean old 1984 Honda Atc200es Big Red 200 cc 3 wheelier this one has the back rack, electric start, headlamp, shaft drive instead of chain, and it has reverse, but you still gotta lean to steer it, damn thing goes great in the mud. Just remember they'll only kill you if you don't know how to ride em, I used to ride the small 175 when I was a kid, and now that I can controll the massive thing I've steped up to the 200. I must say its a thrill ride every time I ride. ![]() This is it in the parents back yard, it got a flat, that's the redneck rain cover we used its a crawfish tub. What we use to dredge the crawfish before we boil em ![]() This is it in my garage on jackstands the tires rotted out on me ande that's the tool box I mounted on it, it holds the car batterey that runs it, a chain in case I get stuck and still room for a case of beer next up a gun rack and a swivel rest for the top of the toolbox |
