Hello everyone in the geo metro forum community!!

I am so happy to have finally found a forum aimed for geo metro owners and enthusiasts :rocker

Just recently purchased my '96 geo metro lsi and I absolutely LOVE it!

When I bought it, the exterior and interior were in terrible condition.. however the engine was in perfect condition..

Not too long after buying the vehicle, I repainted the exterior (including the bumpers) and completely gutted the inside.. I replaced the carpet & repainted the interior panels and such..

I also added my own customized sunroof! it was the first time i attempted making my own sunroof and it turned out to be a complete success! The process of cutting out a giant hole in the roof was very exciting!! LOL :D

I am greatly looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Also, I will be posting before/after pictures of my car shortly!

Chuck :cheers

I too have been thinking about a sunroof. A little apprehensive though about cutting a hole in the top. Where did you order the sunroof?

man I want a sun roof but I already TOUCH the ceiling. sun roof would be painful unless I got one wide enough that my head would not "hit" the edge of it on bumps :-)

Can you provide us with a little guide on how you fabricated your own sunroof? It is very intriguing.

That was great! :evillol

Link #2 took me directly to my Hotmail log in page. :lol :lol

So, out forum software programming does not allow for direct links. One needs a free tinypic, ImageShack or Photobucket type account. After login, I go to an album, click 'upload', select pics off my hard drive and wait... Photobucket has a PhotoSHOP type editor for pics and I resize them to something lower than Large for space saving and dial-up internet connectors.
Part #2 is you need an http:// address of a .jpg or gif or pic. and you can past it in your post so long as it has after it. I hope that makes sense. :'(
