LOL ! Yeah 150MPH was the lowest they could do :D - I'll be happy (and very wind swept) if I get it to 85Mph !!

Bogs, Cheers!

Not got as much done this weekend as I wanted but did get the ECU mounts within the dashboard made and fitted (its on rubber anti vibration mounts now) and the dashboard mounting tabs are now welded in place, I dropped the gauges into the dash for a quick pic! so here you go -

Thanks everyone - been doing some more work this weekend -

Decided to fit the front lamps so fabbed up these mental lamp brackets! due to the narrow nose and long suspension arms the lamp brackets had to lower the main lamp (To comply with the 1200mm max height from floor IVA rule) and push it out towards the wheel quite a long way (To comply with the 400mm to outside edge of vehicle IVA rule) Anyway here are a few pics

Plate cut and drilled ready for welding -

Tacked together -

One finished and on (clamped in position) -

Both finished and clamped on -

I think they look a little mental, but hey so does the rest eh!!

Lamps are a 7 inch rubber cased unit and the indicators are rubber stalked bike type!

Whole thing looks fantastic, love the use of the bike signals :thumb
Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me, or are your front wheels slanted way in? The way it looks like to me is like the front suspension is not keeping them flat / straight :dunno

Bogs,

thanks for the comments, the camera has quite a wide angle lense which does tend to make things look a little odd but the suspension is just bolted together at the moment it has not been set up correctly, plus im changing the front hub adaptors to increase my KPI level on the front wheels, so its gonna change!!

Well not as much done as I would have liked over the last few weeks, been cleaning up and painting a lot of the parts that Ive been fabricating over the last few months, last parts to sort (in the current batch) were the exhaust parts, so here is a quick shot of the manifold after painting and then after the thermal wrap!

I need to get the manifold and the rest of the exhaust back on and run it up to temp to cure the paint so I'll do a new video when I run it up!

That's a unique collector design you have there. Are you going to be doing individual exhaust pipes for each cylinder, or are you going to merge them later on in the exhaust system?

starscream5000 - there is a merge collector that I have built to attach to that triangular-ish flange, I have finished the whole exhaust but until now it wasnt painted and wrapped!! hang on I have a pic of it somewhere....... here you go:-

That pic shows the collector bolted into position on the bench, I later drilled the final pipe of the collector to fit the o2 sensor! and on this picture I had not yet decided to re-add the EGR port pipe (hence the 4th smaller bore tube in the other pictures :D
