Very nice! Just went back and re-read the whole thing, your work is very impressive. Didn't see any mention of where you actually are in the UK? I'm in Chesterfield, Derbyshire from time to time and like to get an idea of what's going on where.

Nice, and I love the headlights. :rocker

Street legal. Our local police are giving out tickets to people who have started a new fad of driving the streets on these...

Closest I get to the UK is the wife's mom was born there and the wife is applying for citizenship so I may be married to a "Brit" some day :thumb That and watching Red Dwarf and Hot Fuzz... that's where I'm off to now. :lol

Oh yeah... BEAUTIFUL BUGGY!

Oh, well, that's right up the road. I've flown into Manchester a couple of times. The wife is from Chesterfield, I fully expect to be living there 18 months from now.

Its been a while since the last update and things have moved along, not a massive amount but moved none the less!

So I have a few photos of the heat shield welded up (Thanks to a welding fabrication tutor mate of mine) and then fitted after polishing!! (A bit of Bling never hurt anyone)

Polished and fitted with ignition lead mounts in place and leads fitted and a nice shot of the fuel tank fitted (firewalls not done yet);

Thanks Bogs, but I cannot claim to have welded the alloy together (which was a work of art itself) a mate of mine did it for me as I only have Mig not Tig kit (and after watching him weld the alloy I know why :) )

By the way... Vindaloo is now a regular dish at our house. :lol

We first heard of it on Red Dwarf. Great stuff on the mild side of hot IMHO. The Wife and her twin sister got a jar of Vindaloo paste and have come up with their own creations using a basic recipe. :drool Tonights was served on a bed of Penne Rigate pasta.
