Hello,
I just joined up to the forum after reading through it for several days. While I don't own a Geo I wish I could. Anyway I have great respect for the little cars and the impressive mileage that they can get. I would love to own a Metro some day but right now I have neither the money nor place to keep one, but that's ok I can't find one around me without a rusted out frame horn for a reasonable price anyway. But anyways I thought I would join and watch what you all are up to, I've learned so much already that I can use on my other cars and hopefully in the future on others.

Thanks,
Scott Williams

Thanks for the welcome, sadly with the way things are for me right now I doubt I'll get one within the next few months, if I can even find one, none of the ones I find for sale are worth what's asked for them. Oh well.

You can go a few states over and get one from a guy that rebuild them...

Oh I found one I like, the only problem is it's in a junkyard, runs great, good transmission, but it had a rusty frame horn and the yard guys decided to use it to fetch parts until the frame snapped and jammed the driver side front wheel under the fender. It makes me sad that besides that rusted frame horn and a rust hole on the passanger fender the car looks to have very little rust and a good interior too. But that damaged frame is something that while I could probably fix, I don't have the money or the tools to do it. Plus the yard wants $500 for it even with the trashed frame, but it looks so good, such a same.

Welcome to the forum, Felix1989! :coffee

Yea, $500 is to much for a wrecked Geo. Keep looking, save money. Besides forums are a virtual reality, eh. We'll be your virtual friends and you can imagine your virtual Geo? :lol

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Yeah I figured that $500 was too much, such a shame though, the rest of the car is in great shape. It's even a color I like but for that price and having to fix the frame, you're right it's not worth it. Anyway, thanks again.
