Being as this isn't my only car, today i took off the intake manifold and exhaust manifold( used no penetrating spray and they all came off smoothly). I couldn't break free the dampener bolt, I'm gonna borrow my buddy's compressor. Is there a trick for the valve cover it didn't seem to wanna break free? Still not sure if i want to try and just do the head out or do a complete overhaul.

Its the little covers that go over Orings. They are a pain in the back side. I use a sharp, small chisle. Gently tap them around. When you get your gasket set. The new covers are in there. Did I mention those things suck.
Welcome to the place. Take lots of pics.
