Picasa is momentarily screwed up, probably my fault.

I've got to go edit all my posts to get the pics back. :banghead

Your patience is appreciated.

I think #4 is the valve cover gasket.....

Really, the only thing Ive been into so far is the head/intake assembly.

It's gotta be for one of those, I think. :ermm: Odd.

Please post a clear picture of what your throttle body opening looks like after you remove the air cleaner cover and filter.

Again, I'm almost positive it goes on the throttle body. Look around the top of the throttle body and find the injector wires that are encased in a cloth sheath (rubber insulated wires in a cloth sheath). The little section of cloth sheath winds around this piece (I'm almost sure).

Check a diagram of a throttle body.

Crankcase is ALMOST positive but I am 100% Positive that it goes on top of the throttle body. It bolts on under the tower that the air cleaner nut screws on to. Ken....

Like I said, my memory sucks, that was the closest one I saw to what I remembered :) Now that I can see it again, though, yah, definitely not that one.

Now that I can see it next to a ruler, and its roughly 4" long, I would suspect the above posts are correct, since you say you've been into the intake etc.

Did you happen to remove the throttle body from the manifold for some reason ? That would explain why this part was removed. You just took out a few more bolts than necessary, that's all. Ken....

I disassembled the whole intake, cleaned it, painted it, and reassembled it.

See the Project thread here, specifically the intake being painted in this post.
