Great site with everything i ever wanted to know and learn, kinda of hobby of sorts it seems on these Geos. Anyways nice to meet all of you who read this post -
Looking to rebuild an motor that is working ok in the xfi, nothing fancy but wanting to do it the right way with quality parts for longevity with great tips on here.

Rare ?! funny . That reminded me of this guy on craigslist who has been trying to sell his XFI for a while now and he wants $3999 Here is his add.

"for those of you who have never heard of this google this model and see!!! mint New tires! smogged last week! no need for smog if you buy it in the next 70 days!!! government rated a t58 mpg new water pump, timing belt oil pan gasket tune up oil change cap rotor ,, brakes are solid no overheat this years ( 2011)registration done last week! runs great no tears or dents ,,, is a unreal commuter car!!!! really very very dependable new oil pan gasket car is ready to drive cross country and is mint! try and find one???????? really , do a search and see how far you will have to fly or drive to even see one for sale!!! 909 xxxxxxx one sold last year on e-bay for $7200!! "

Another Favorite...Because When you buy the Viper car alarm you get the Metro for Free :lol

"1994 Geo Metro. 185K miles. Runs. Will not idle. 90% sure it's the ECM. Pick a Part sells them for around $50. Extra parts - throttle body, tail lights, door handles, window cranks, sensors, assorted screws and bolts. New spark plugs, new cap and rotor. There is a top of the line Viper 5902 installed. This is an alarm remote start combo, color LCD remote. Other things you won't find in most Metro's --- drivers window rolls up and down. Custom speaker pods for front doors. Prewived for amp (no stereo or amps included) (leaving door speakers in) Hatch struts keep rear hatch open... no broom handle needed.. 5 speed. 3 cylinder. No A/C. One new tire (150 miles on it). Other 3 tires okay. KYB struts up front. Air horns. Car still gets over 40 mpg on the highway even with all these miles on it. Burns some oil. Must come to complete stop to put in 1st. Newer timing belt. 25K on the clutch. Great little beater car. Price is FIRM. $450.00 cashish... @
