i shorted something on my fuel system

Your ECM would be the silver box if I read my manual correctly.

So you are not getting voltage to the fuel pump. You want to find out if the wire has continuity from the pump back to the Fuse Box and it must be grounded, bogs' directions. I'll search more later....

ok you guys have definately convinced me that it is either in the ecm or the fuses so i am going to do some reassembly but want to do some updating and cleaning in the process so i will let you guys know in a couple days and thanks for the thread BENT that helped alot

BadBent sent me a link i disconnected the pink/white from the ecm jumpered the wire to ground plugged the ecm back in turned on key and pump came on but the link doesnt say what to do after that i think we are getting close

I think that means you shorted something the the ECM and its time to get a new one :(

Well, I hope that does it. :'(

Otherwise I wonder if the ECM was grounded or if the wire/ECM had a good connection?

thanks for everything i made it to the junk yard today replaced the ecm and holy crap my little project fired right up. wish i would have found this site sooner would have saved me alot of headache i will be a regular on here and once again thanks for the help
