Geo Metros and I have getting along for a very long time ...people either get tired of them or thier mechanics dont think they are worthy enough for them to work on...so I'm always having people either dropping them off with thier titles or selling them cheap ...I fix'em up... then travel in them untill a another one comes along, then resell them to needy families for what parts I put in them. I have kept two 91 convertibles ( only paid $300 for each) in which I'm currently restoring, and one 92 vert (got the smile wiped off it) still tring to find a doner tho , don't want to tear up a good metro, so I'm waiting for one thats been severly damaged in the rear. This site has been very help-full with tech info, as being a mechanic I work on anything with a motor, so a little extra info is always appeciated. Also Being here in the deep south I don't have to worry about rust so much, but sun and heat are brutual on paint and interiors (plastic powder and deteriated dashs, oh my!! ).

Welcome to the forum, geogonfa. Sounds like you have a lot of experience with working on metros. We always like to see pictures. What front end parts are you looking for on the 91/92 vert? |

Welcome to the forum, geogonfa! Give it a few days and I'm pretty sure someone will come up with an idea on getting parts. I'm thinking Sam or PA but others know what years would be compatible with the vert. Thanks for the pictures! |

Hi there from the other end of the continental US! Too bad you're so far away, I've got a parts Metro 5 door that has a serviceable front clip that would work well for you, and it is even in red! Nice what you do with the cars... |
