Hello guys, I have a 96 Metro LSI, with a auto tranny that is about to go out any time know. My question, with the money it's going to take to fix it, and since I rather have a 5-speed, how much trouble, cost would it be to go that route and convert to a 5-speed, instead of rebuilding the auto tranny? Thanks, |

Common question that turns up a lot here, the answer is generally the same as it would be for any vehicle, and that is basically get a standard vehicle donor since you will need, among other things, the pedal assembly, tranny, shifter linkage, etc etc. |
