Hello I am rebuilding my engine on a 1996 metro 3 cyl 5 sp. with air conditioning. I would like to know if replacing the original transmission with an XFI transmission and installing a camshaft and gear from 3 tech. Would these modifications be compatible ? Thanks Joel |

Yes. Go for it if you have the parts or can lay hands on them. |

Very compatible, almost to the point of being mandatory. That XFI tranny is going to be very tall for your car, engine, wheels diameter. The 3Tech cam and gear will give you a bit more low end grunt in order to push those gears better. |
