List of things to do:

engine
1. new fluids as the oil in the car is over 3 years old (when it came out it looked like black paint not oil)
2. new oil filter
3. New PCV valve (old one is broke in 2 pieces)
4. re-attach air box and new air filter
5. find why passenger side get strong gas smell when driving

body
1. tires only had 19psi when i got them (now 40psi cold, side wall says 44psi)
2. put as many screws and nuts back in that i can find matches for as currently the front bumper is held on by Zipties
3. adjust passager door as it is missing lock, window is not on track, side mirror hangs at funny angle, so on

electrical
1. head lights are not the same power
2. dash back light does not work
3. need new rear turn signal bulb
4. dome light flickers
5. seat belt light on all the time

long term projects

1. dodge neon console install
2. find split rear seat
3. kammiback
4. air damm/bumper mod
5. paint interior
6. new bucket seats
7. full engine rebuild
8. redesign radio position (will be above the air controls rather than underneath)
9. new carpet, door panels, roof panel
10. moon roof install
11. new store
12. privacy back flap/ with speakers (removable sub woofer)

I'd run some cheap oil for 100 miles with the seafoam treatment and then some good synthetic oil after that.

smoke.... Is this a bad thing?

Update: the smoke is coming not off the block or the exhaust manifold like in the vid but rather farther down the exhaust/ Cadillac converter (mabye, the box which runs a pipe down to the muffler)

As for the headlights being of different brightness, check the headlight relay. That was the problem with my 89.

I love the flames! :rocker

Well, in the spirit of hyper-milling 44 psi tires could go to 70 :lol , no really at least 45 maybe as high as 47 - I add 3 psi and the hot temp on my 32 psi tires is 40 psi. Hope they didn't flat spot or break the casing with the low pressure.

The smoke could be oil from the distributor o-ring, which you can add to your list. It's so easy, you should do it very soon. :) Seafoam the Throttle Body (1/2 through the throat, 1/2 through brake booster vacuum tube) will help you detect any exhaust leaks.

PCV and clean the "Y" tube.

May I ask what you mean by "new store?"

One thing that will help is cleaning all the grounds. I use a Dremel tool. zooke581 has a good suggestion. :thumb

Oh man you will have fun with that! The first visual that came to mind was dressing like Cheech or Chong (depending on your body type) hooking up one of the stage smoke makers, venting it out the back and driving through downtown at say 5 miles an hour...

Ok Met Heads assemble because oh BOY do I need your guys Help!

So I went out and got some new toys at Harbor Freight; Compression tester, Spark plug puller, stubby ratchet, 3 ton jack stands, so on...

Step One. New Oil and Anti Freeze

this is what came out

Posted Image

So I put 4 qt. of Quaker-state 5w30 in and a new filter ( only plan to have this oil in for a short while as I am going to seafoam soon)

at the same time I drained the Coolant and replaced with new stuff as well

When I got it all back together to give it a start it made a rubbing sound for like 5 secs then smoothed out better then it had ever run (did i do somthing wrong?)

any how it has been 100 or so miles since then and was going to seafoam but first lets try a compression test. Or So I thought.

Compression test: Screwed up and did it on a cold engine but anyhow Cylinder 1 Scored a 165 dry :rocker then I got in trouble....

both Cylinder 2 and 3 I could not get a reading on as the needle would not stay still bouncing all over the place. (what does this mean?) and stopped as I was worried I was doing something wrong.

Now for the BIG worry of the night. :ermm: white SMOKE was coming from the tail pipe and I noticed a little oil driping out of the tailpipe

Posted Image

but it gets worse there was a oil spray on the garage door right in the line of fire about 4 feet from the tailpipe

Posted Image

this oil is very dark and thick like what i pulled out not like the nice caramel I just put in. Give it to me straight How Bad is it really :'(

I also have some spark plug questions:
Cly #1
Posted Image

Cly#3
Posted Image

where plug #3 goes
Posted ImagePosted Image

Is the Rust a problem?

and one more thing guys

The whole car shakes really bad when sitting in idle and was told by a trusted Mechanic that is was most likely a motor mount issues and the rattle goes away when you give it a little gas (bringing up the Idle). So my question is this

Posted Image

How much is the second screw that I am missing going to help the shake. Where can I get a new Screw to hold it?

Thanks in advance guys

Very nice looking ride! Your last picture didn't post. If it's the motor mount bolt, I'm pretty sure that RockAuto has a bout everything you need.

What's the history of your car? Miles and alleged work done?

The white smoke could be coolant getting into the combustion chamber. Bad head gasket, cracked head, and other very heart breaking things. Or you could be just burning of condensation in the pipes, cat, and muffler. it's been pretty humid these days. My Jeep always smokes white, for a while, on high humidity days. If the coolant doesn't go down, I bet that's it.

The black caramel oily stuff could be blow by mixing with the condensation. Or perhaps a pcv, valve seals, rings, or other problems. Does it clear up after a bit? Or just keep coming? Did it do this before? Or just after you changed the oil and coolant? Again, I think we need a little more information.

I'd start by degreasing everything as squeaky clean as possible. Then a full blown SeaFoam treatment. Then she'd be clean inside and out. That way one can see the external leaks better, if any, and make a better overall determination of the engines health.

You didn't do anything wrong, from what you said, about compression testing. (other than not having a warm engine) Those Harbor Freight testers are ok, but still not the best quality. The relief valve may have some carbon stuck from cylinder one. Or it's toast already. If so, I'd exchange it for a new one since you just got it. I noticed mine is not holding as well any more. Hopefully it's just dirty. No sending mine back now.

Let us know a couple more details. All is not lost! Worse case, engines are not that tough to swap. I'm in the process as we speak. It just takes some time dedication inwhich other matters have been pulling me away.
