The service manual has dimensions for various parts to check for squareness, if you have one or someone who does can post the numbers for the front section of the car. Radiator support can be bent back into place fairly easily, just gotta work on it till its right. Hood and latch will be cheap if you can find one at a pull-a-part or the like. I'd fix it myself if it was mine, no question. Good luck with it! |

Sad. Take a deep breath and fix it yourself. You could use a chain, tree and $16 Harbor Freight; Cable Winch Puller on the frame/radiator. I'd pull the hood, lay it on a soft surface and try pushing it back into shape. BUT give it a few days and you will have other ideas, I'm sure.

You can fix it. You can get a new(er) hood, or you can reshape that one. The latch stuff can be found at any junkyard. |

Fix it.... It's a lot cheaper than buying a prius.. Plus the time you spend tinkering with your metro will inspire you to want to keep it. Once bitten by the metro bug, you will never recover. You will always want to pamper your metro and not want to get rid of it. I say try to repair it to the best of your abilities. Heck, you have a whole community of metro guys who will give you the best advise available on how to fix anything wrong with you metro. We will be here for you. Just ask questions and a response will be forthcoming. Hang in there and don't let this depress you, think of it as a new and exciting chapter in your life. We are here to help. terry |

I saw you're in bowling green, and I thought "that's only 30 mins from me" but then I noticed its Ohio, not Kentucky. If I was closer I'd offer to give you a hand with it. |
