Matching shirts, cool. I wore one glove for a while. :O

What a legacy of great music and performances. B-)
yes his life was spent trying to make people see what was happening in other parts of the world, that we normally wouldnt see on t.v. through his music B-) ...i watched the hour portion of that special earlier but the second hour was about the football player that was murdered last year...so i switched it to 20/20 which had everything about him and his family...both shows had me in tears...especially when the make up artist who was friends w/ him for 25 yrs. Karen, spoke about how he wept before going to the daily court proceedings back in 2005...she made me cry because she said hed put his head on her shoulder and weep and asked "why is the world doing this to me?" :'( ...

it was almost too overwhelming for me whenever she spoke about him and how she felt that he wasnt ready for the stage again and about how he had lost a lot of weight between march and may 2009...but both of the shows were nicely done esp. the one with the mom Katherine...

First off... Thanks Coche Blanco for starting this thread. I used to download music from Kazaa and thought it was so cool - but didn't even realize that Youtube was such a great source of audio + of course... video. I've always keep an open mind in regards to music and enjoy many different genres.
I never even considered punk until I heard your Daft Punk "Around the World"- I played it over and over!
Some of Engine Doctor's stuff was right up my alley:
That song from Bob Seger- Roll me Away... just makes me want to leave home on a bike! Reminds me of Bruce Springsteen.
John Denver... Got all his stuff.
Marty Robbins - I have his famous "Gunfighter" album- I'm sorry CD. My dad loved Marty Robbins and every time I hear it it brings me back to 1964 or so...
Rmcelwee:
Rodney Carrington- what a funny video.
Here are some of my favorites...

Garth Brooks - Ever since I bought a pickup truck I can't resist...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siWmOSByIOg

Steven Stills... you know I like to fly...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUmIO_MG5IU

John Denver - one of his classics...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oN86d0CdgHQ

Cat Stevens... From my era...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TWd3skb-Rw

Queen: My sister really loved 'em - I liked them...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ9rUzIMcZQ

Don McLean... Such a pretty song...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dipFMJckZOM

Yiruma... Starting to get a little classical here...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsGZR7HXj5U

OK, I went all the way, but who can resist this classic --No Flamers Please!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LXl4y6D-QI

Hope someone out there shares my mixed up taste in music ...Enjoy all that the world can give... OK I had a few beers :beer

@ c140flyer Did you see just how big that piano players Afro was in the Cat Stevens vid? Wow
Another one of Steven Stills greatest songs was with "The Buffalo Springfield" " For what its worth"
It is not about Vietnam. It sure did sound like it though. It was really about the riots in Watts.
Great selection of songs though. We sure looked alot different then

I started a thread on my miata turbo board "What song is in your head right now" because I could not get the song below out of my mind. It was pretty interesting seeing all the really screwed up music that people listen to. I couldn't make it through 30 seconds of a lot of it.

Here was my song (believe it or not, one of the biggest selling songs of all time - set a ton of records):

For what it's worth - There's a man with a gun over there - telling us we got to beware ... 4 dead in Ohio. I'm pretty sure it was all about the campus protests in Akron and the guard unbelievably being ordered to fire upon the students. My sister-in-law was a student there at the time, involved in the protests and on the scene. I think it was May 4 1970. Maybe it encompassed other protests and riots too but I never realized, since it was so close to home.

I think those are two different events. The Bullalo Springfield was all done before 1970. It seems that it was already a trade marked name. 4 dead in Ohio, was penned mostly by Mr. Neil Young
Theres a man with a gun over there, tellin me I got to beware, I think its time we stop hey whats that sound, everybody look whats going down...
That is the line. The other is from CSN&Y. And was a really terrible thing that happend. I think " For what its worth" was recorded in 67 or 68.

Don't get confused by the name of the band, that was not punk by any streach of the imagination, this is punk:

Music can be too good not to give all of it a chance, that's why I started this thread. :)

"Bartender"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdEvL6jxUYA&a=FJueDF1Jg6U&playnext_from=ML

A comment on the above video read, "My parole officer sent me this song in an E-Mail. The only message was; "Dwayne, I found your theme song." and then a link to this.
He's a dick, but that's pretty funny."

"I'm in Miami Trick"
It's really good party song, all of LMFAO's songs are.

"Cocaine"
CLAPTON!!!
