Songs you need to hear

This soundtrack has been through my head for weeks now (not just this song). Can't believe how good it is or that a soundtrack would even permeate my waking life as long as this one has. The wife, daughter and I are a bit obsessed with it even though it's been out of the theaters for a while.

I don't remember what the name of the song is. It is by Gene Cruppa, and Benny Goodman. It starts with Gene just playing the hell out of the drums. A driving hard beat, the brass horns come in and it gets down. After awhile Beeny comes in with his clarinet. Its a really long song too. One of our friends a while back had asked about songs with a deep bass sound. This would qualify for that. Mr Cruppa could really rock. Even before there was Rock and Roll. My parents used do dance to this. Two steps for every beat. I am certain that one of our older friends here remembers the name of this song.
Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing)...best version is the "Live at Carnegie Hall" although the studio version is OK too, but you have to flip the disc if you are listening to an original 78 rpm disc.

Thats the song. And I like the long version. Also the Time has Come Today, by the Chambers Brothers. All 17 mins.

Do you know there's a Madonna University (privately funded) in Michigan?
