@HavsCritiria, I use an angle head die grinder with a 3M soft disk to remove the old gaskets. If you don't have not try one of your local shops. Give one of the guys a couple of $ and theh can do it in just a few minutes time. And did anyone put a machinist straight edge on the head of block? They should have less than about .003" warp. If they are much over that it will blow the gasket right away. Sorry you are having troubles with your first build.

Thanks Murf, I'm assuming it is the head because of the perforations it had, however, I don't know for sure if the block is warped. Thanks for the sympathy, thankfully it's not even my car, I'm just using it as a learning experience.
