The plus side for going through Cookeville is it puts us on state highways where we can maintain 55mph or so without being overrun by semi's, until Lexingon anyway. Its about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from where I am to the meeting place in Dunnville. Another consideration is Coche and I are in central timezone meaning that we have to leave an hour earlier to meet you guys in eastern time.

Meeting with you and in Dunnville puts me 2 hours longer. I'm not sure If i'm okay with that. I'll have to decide.

True about the 55...I wonder if that's a factor in the Google calculation? Probably...

Coche, you are correct that you will have a longer route with the convoy. Google would rather you went up a little westward on 65 and 71. However considering that you aren't going at freeway speeds, better to calculate driving time based on mileage.

You will save about 60 miles, which is roughly an hour of driving at 60mph ;)

If thats what you want to do, we can still meet in Cincinnati, which is about 3hrs north of Dunnville, therefore we will be there about 2:00. After 15 minutes (2:15), on we go.

If you need a camping spot now that you're going solo, I still have room in the tent.......

I will take that offer, and pay you the 20 we were talking about earlier. I started doing the "i'll be driving 60mph calculation too, i may end up in the convoy again.

What is everybody packing? *food/clothes/etc

So far all i've got is a laptop haha

OK, this is the slightly more accurate timetable.

Google always calculates 10mph slow, so I thought that I would set us at 50mph avg speed.

Also, do you guys want to eat? That takes time too.....

726 miles total - - - - - 16 hrs (AVG 50mph)

From huntsville AL - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4:00am CST
165 miles
to cookville TN - - - - 198 min= 3hrs 18min- - - 7:20am CST
96 miles
to dunnville KY - - - - 115 min= 1hr 55min- - - 10:20am EST
161 miles
to cincinnati OH- - - - 193 min= 3hrs 13min - - 1:30pm EST

Lunch? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 30 min - 2:00 EST
106 miles
to columbus OH- - - - - 127 min= 2hrs 7min - 4:00pm EST
197 miles , plus 30 min supper?
to Andover OH - - - - - 236 min= 3hrs 56min, add 30 min? - 8:30pm EST arrive

Still flexible, inputs appreciated.

4 am...you meany :P I'm okay with the time line. We would need to be texting/calling figuring times on the fly. i.e. if me and MC get stuck in a jam on the way there I wouldn't want you leaving out and having to wait. Unless we want to just break off the convoy instead.

Eating is not important to me, I can either pack and eat/drive or just stop and eat.

I usually just grab food when I have to stop for gas, whenever that happens to be. (thinking about carrying 5 gallon gas tank for that extra 250+ mile range lol) fill 'er up with E0 gas here in cookeville, we have a bunch of E0 stations around here :D

Sorry about that. If we leave out the eating time, thats an hour right there, so you could leave at 5am, and shift everything up an hour. But that'll be pushin' it.

You got it though, the cell phones are key. I will send out the ph numbers tonite, hopefully I will have t3ragtop's number by then. Have the other #s.

I will leave whenever is good for everyone else. I like EARLY morning/late night because of the heat.

I'm also thinking about bringing a 5 gallon can to make it there on 1 "tank".

It's sold here but it's overpriced to hell and back. 2.49 for Texaco's E10 87 octane, 2.79 for E0 87 octane. And it's always 15% or so more expensive...so it was a big difference in 2008.

OK, I just heard from t3ragtop, and he says that he and 90Metro are going up earlier in the day. :ermm:

I will try to verify this with 90Metro, it shouldn't affect anything much, we just won't stop in Columbus.
