I finally had a few minutes to take the vacuum line off the intake manifold from the brake booster. Sure enough, it was collapsed. You guys just saved me 120 bucks and few hours of cussin' and standing on my head, because I was all set to replace the booster. What a beaut !! Mine still had a small opening but when the engine compartment was hot it would collapse a bit more. I'd get 1 good braking event every few minutes, which was fine except in stop and go freeway traffic! |
