The Ever Elusive "Intake Grounds"

My manual shows many, many things grounding at that point. There are about six wires going to that bolt.

The fuel and temperature gauges share a ground. If it was bad, both gauges would exhibit a problem.

My 92' only has 3 wires going to that point and according the the service manual they all go back to the ECM

I'd like to bump this. I made double sure to hook this up when I did my rebuild...but it didn't work. I ended up jumping in the car to turn the key and prime the engine. (FI injector relay pulled) I was just going to use the starter to build oil pressure...I never heard the fuel pump kick on. So I put the FI relay back in and tried to start it. Still no fuel pump sound, so I didn't try to start it. Pulled off this pesky ground and cleaned it with a wire brush and bolted it back up. It started first try after that.
