Welcome to the forum. If you do chance to get it. It will still save a whole lot of $. But I think that is just to pricey. For that price is there any spare parts that come with it? And with just a bit of tuning it up for you. Getting better than 50mpg is pretty easy in one of these cars. Just not with the air running.

GA Geo

I guess I'm just partial to that body style and I must have that color blue. What years did they make the comp. blue? It is the same as Petty blue and Ford grabber blue. I know this sounds crazy but I always wanted to have a Metro painted like the old school Richard Petty #43 STP car. I have a friend that prints graphics for race cars who wants to help me with it. I just did my golf cart that way and it turned out really good. Stupid I know but I think it would be cool. Plus it would save me about $200 a month in fuel costs.

Well, with this information, it would certainly be worth a trip to see the Geo, IMHO. Find another reason for the trip so it's not a total waste, there's a bakery in town that might be worth a visit. Do a compression check and check for rust. If those are new 12" tires they are worth maybe $180.

If it saves you $200 a month you'll be ahead of the game or break even by Christmas. Sure I got a $300 Geo but I've invested $2400 and I don't care for red either. :lol

The body style, the color, new tires, if it's all true then it would be worth a look at least and if it what you really want it's worth it. Who hasn't over paid a little or a lot for what the really wanted. :whistle

One of my top choices would be a 1966 AC Shelby Cobra 427. ;)

Are you happy?

I think you did yoshiki2. If you know what you are getting when you go into the deal, it's what you want, at least one kid can still go to college and/or your significant other stays with you, that's a good thing. :lol

It's not easy driving around in an icon of fuel efficiency. Think of all the Pinto owners out there...
