Yea know that saying when life gives you lemons make lemonade? Well I'm making lemon meringue pie out of it. So after putting 75 hours of resto work into my metro I'm in the home stretch (been working from February 'til now). It was such a slow drag that on multiple occasions I thought of selling especially after comparing my insurance for this compared to that of a motorcycle. My parents got a really cold feet about that. Their idea, chip in some extra and help me get a second job and if I do such I'm allowed to modify 'til my hearts content as well as circuit race it. SO let the weight removal begin and another thing. Can swift gti brakes fit on a regular metro? Has anyone attempted to perform this? someday I'll post pics of the finished result. I should have taken a set of befores but I was just to lazy . So please get back to me on this and I will keep you updated. Oh and I intend to make this car on basis of upgrade the things that need replacing first.
