Hey! I hope you can help out. I have a 95 Geo four cylinders, I think it is either base or XFI. It was working perfectly until I took out the entire engine to replace all the oil seals. Everything is back in place and connected but there are no sparks in the sparkplugs. The coil appears not to be sending power. I tested the voltage entering the coil with a multimeter and I am getting less than 8 volts. Haynes manual says not to ground the coil directly, but I did. In this case I got a good spark from the coil. I am assuming the coil's ground is failing. Any ideas on where to find the coil's ground wire problem? Is there any specific diagram, photo, or drawing that someone could share? Thanks Bumper |
