looks like a very nice and fast car.

I like the 4 door look.

How many miles? what'd it run ya :P?

Curious...

Finally going to go pick the car up this weekend :)

First thing to be done is take out the stock air filter and replace it with a cone filter that I already have waiting for it, then it's off to do a lot of maintenance to the car.

We picked up the car today. I was right about the air filter robbing a lot of power. It looked like it had the original filter in it. I took the cone filter off the malibu and put it on the GTP, BIG difference! This is more like what I was expecting out of this car. :)

Gotta love that supercharger whine!

Got some stuff in the mail for the car last night:
10MM racing wires.
colder plugs
supercharger oil
2 gallons Dexron VI
Tranny filter
Shift Kit.

Time to tinker this weekend :D

Maybe it's kinda like setting ignition timing by ear... turn the distributor until the engine pings and back off.

I was just thinking it would be OK to soup up the "family" car until you wake up one morning on the living room couch. ;)

Time to back off? When I watch the British Touring Car Championships or WRC I always envision the driver saying "Hey, honey, look what I did to the family car." :lol

Actually, my wife's all for souping it up. She told me today that I can buy whatever I want to for, but not to exceed $2000 for this month. :D

Next week I'm buying a stage 2 intercooler kit for it, high ratio rockers, and headers :)

Got plugs changed out with autolite 104's side gapped at .050" and put in the racing wires as well. The car doesn't have the slight backfire to it anymore.

I was surprised with how easy this car's plugs and wires were to get out compared to my malibu. I didn't have to take off the hood to get to the back 3 ones, but I did have do a little sitting on top of the supercharger.

Those must be easier than on my dad's Impala...he had trouble with his plugs.

to get at the back 3 plugs on any of my FWD GM's I just take out the dogbone motor mounts on top front of the motor and push the car backwards about a foot, this will rotate the motor forward a few inchs and I can reach the back plugs..
