to get at the back 3 plugs on any of my FWD GM's I just take out the dogbone motor mounts on top front of the motor and push the car backwards about a foot, this will rotate the motor forward a few inchs and I can reach the back plugs..
Yep! That's how you do the back headers as well. I didn't even have to undo the dogbones for my spark plug change though.

Ordered headers, header wrap, o2 extenders, and rockers for the car today.

On a side note, I got 25.3MPG in this car on the first tank. I'm driving it again this week to see if I can do better, but I'm pretty sure this car is a lost cause for FE.

Got the header wrap in the mail last night. The ZZP stuff is out for delivery right now and will be there when I get home. Fedex should be delivering the headers on Tuesday. I also ordered an angled o2 sim to move the rear sensor out of the direct exhaust stream. That will be arriving through UPS tomorrow.
I also paid for a set of chrome projector headlights for the car earlier this morning, and just ordered front and rear reflective red lettering for the bumpers, and autoventshade taillight covers.

You will have to wait until I get home. ZZPerformance required a signature for the package and wife was asleep when the driver arrived, so hopefully I get it today...
I only have the header wrap right now, it's not much to look at...

Here's what I've got in the mail so far for performance parts. More to come!

Tomorrow morning I'll be replacing the dexcool with green coolant and installing the 180 degree t-stat as well. I will also be doing oil changes on all 3 of my cars. The Mailbu and Grand Prix both are getting German Castrol and Wix oil filters. The Grand Prix will also have a larger-than-stock filter on it, as well as my Geo Metro.

Got all of the dexcool nice and flushed out of the car today. Put in a 180 degree t-stat and filled with distilled water and green coolant.

Filled up and got 28.12MPG. This was with pretty easy driving the entire tank and no more than maybe 30% throttle when I needed to get out of someone's way. I did most of my driving on the freeway at about 59MPH with very little A/C use as well. I did a lot of in-town driving at slower speeds while flushing the coolant. I'd say that I drove about 50-70 miles like that yesterday, so 30MPG may have been possible if I didn't do the in-town driving...

No, I'm going to put on headers, rockers, an intercooler, intake, drop down to a smaller pulley, and get it tuned.

According to the wife the headers came in today. I'll try to remember to take before and after photos of the headers once I have them wrapped up.

Here are the headers put together, I had to do some coaxing to get them to slide together (bending and beating) but they went together fine and are a snug fit. I'll be wrapping up most of the pipes. More pictures to come when I'm done wrapping.

Got the crossover pipe wrapped and I'm calling it a night, pretty itchy just from that little bit!

Alright, the band clamps came in. So that's it for things needed to get the headers put on. Most likely will not do that this weekend though... Weather permitting, I will drain the transmission and replace the filter, along with putting on the tail light covers and maybe putting on the front headlights. I'll try to take before and after pictures.

Here is the crossover pipe. I stopped a little soon on one end, but it will be okay.

Here's a picture of the clamps.
Aparently, the guys over at Summit Racing thought I needed a shave, they sent me a free, schick hydro 5 shaver. Too bad I have a Braun self cleaning electric razor, lol.
