Okay, I went ahead and put the tail light covers on as well. Here are some before and after photos:

Finished wrapping the front bank header not too long ago. Had to go take a shower after doing so as well. I hate fiberglass! I also used what was left of the first roll to do two of the primaries on the rear bank header. I've still got another 50 ft. roll left so I'm pretty sure I will have extra left when I'm done with it all.

Got 70 MPG?

Bringing this one back from the dead. I got the headers all wrapped up and put them on this weekend. What a PAIN that was. It took me and my cousin TWO DAYS to do it. I could have yanked the motor out of my Geo and put a new one in with less of a hassle than what the GP causes me. I've got to take the car to an exhaust shop to fix the leak where it bolts up to the catback, and to put the band clamp on the rear crossover section. I can barely reach it and the header wrap makes it a pain to get to. I'm to the point where I'd rather just pay someone to do it. I'm sore all over and feel like I went 12 rounds with that car and lost each one... :die

Oh, and I broke off one of the exhaust bolts in the head too... Lovely. I'm just going to RTV that spot up and hope for the best bc the entire engine would have to be yanked to fix that issue....

I think I'll stop modifying this car once the rockers are in. If it's going to be that hard to work on then it can just stay lightly modified. :shake

I think I'll head to the hardware store and find a stubby bolt to put in there and hopefully that will work.

The bolt wouldn't go in, so I plugged it with copper RTV and have put about 150 miles on it with no leaks, so that part is good.

The car was runny choppy, so I had it scanned for codes and got "cylinder #1 misfire" and "rear o2 code". I knew I'd have that code with the leak on the rear o2, but didn't expect issues with #1. The #2 plug got cracked during the install, so it was replaced. I went to pull the spark plug boot off and the ceramic end of the plug came off with it! :ermm:

Replaced that plug and it runs fine now. :D Had an exhaust shop zip off the end of the stud where the downpipe bolts to the catback and got that tightend up pretty well. The flange is a little warped and it still leaks at the top part, but the leak is so small now that the check engine light has gone off :).

Next year the rockers are going in :rocker
